This week-long educational trip of a lifetime is ideal for current students, aspiring students, and graduates of natural health programs. You DO NOT have to be currently enrolled at FSIHS to attend. All natural health enthusiasts are welcome to join us on this educational adventure.
Not only does this Study Abroad trip provide you with memories that last a lifetime, you will earn a continuing education certificate to celebrate your accomplishment. The Franklin School of Integrative Health Sciences is proud to be fully authorized to grant college certificates and degrees by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. This commission oversees college education and ensures that diplomas and certificates issued by the FSIHS are recognized as legitimate college credentials nationwide.

The trip includes all meals and accommodations from when the trip begins at 1pm on Sunday April 26th through the end of the trip at 6pm on Friday May 1st. Accommodations can be single or double occupancy–your choice–and reflect some of the best selections available in richly historic areas of England. Meals include a diverse range of all that England has to offer, and both vegetarian and gluten-free dietary requirements are accommodated. All travel throughout England is also included in the cost, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the British countryside knowing that everything is covered!

Registration does not include your airfare to and from London, though educational meetings prior to the trip include tips and insights for purchasing your tickets at the best price. Registration does not include any personal expenses you may incur, such as souvenirs, extra snacks, or activities during your free time. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself should an emergency arise.
SUNDAY APRIL 26 • LONDON
Your week begins Sunday at 1pm London time at Russell Square, located in Bloomsbury, near the University of London and the British Museum. After a brief orientation and meet-and-greet, you will enjoy a walking tour through the sites of some of the most noteworthy events in health history.
During this exciting excursion, you will learn the behind-the-scenes stories that led to some of the greatest advancements in health. Whether this is your first time in London or you call the city home, you will see this area as never before.
MONDAY APRIL 27 • OXFORD
On Monday, you will spend the day learning about the history and scientific advancements of botanical medicine nestled in a beautiful classroom on the prestigious Oxford University campus. In addition to the seminars and workshops, your day will be spent enjoying the stunning views and the rich academic tradition. After the classroom experience, you will enjoy a tour of England’s oldest Botanic gardens.
TUESDAY APRIL 28 AND WEDNESDAY April 29 • HAMPSHIRE
Tuesday takes you deep into the beautiful region of Hampshire where you will enjoy the stunning countryside up close and personally by engaging in an herb walk, followed by an outdoor educational experience, and medicine-making tutorials.
THURSDAY April 30 AND FRIDAY, MAY 1 • BATH SPA
Your final stop on the trip is to the ancient Roman city of Bath, with its rich tradition of health and luxury. Thursday’s focus is hydrotherapy, with a private tour of the Roman baths, workshops on water as a healing aid, and a session at the luxurious Thermae Bath Spa.
Friday’s emphasis is Food as Medicine, with workshops on the complicated subjects of bread and dairy. You will visit the historic Sally Lunn bakery and a traditional dairy and enjoy a tasting tour of some fresh British cheeses before returning to London’s Padding station to say farewell.
