There are two key goals of the applications process: 1) to document that all new students are capable of mastering postsecondary (i.e. college/university level) coursework, and 2) to ensure that all applicants are a good match for the program’s goals and objectives before accepting your payments. The application process involves compiling evidence that both tasks have been met.
For the Diploma in Dietary Supplement Science, applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent. For the Graduate Certificate in Herbal Science, applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent. Students for whom English is not their first language will also be required to submit an English proficiency test to ensure ability to benefit. All applicants must submit official transcripts (sent to us directly from your previous high school, college, or university), 2 letters of recommendation, and an admissions essay.
Both programs are open to current professionals and aspiring professionals alike. The Graduate Certificate is particularly suited for wellness consultants, pharmacists, nurses, chiropractors, midwives, physicians, dietitians, and other health professionals. The DipDSS is well suited for health enthusiasts, doulas, wellness trainers, aspiring integrative health professionals, and anyone else who is ready to become an herbalist and wants to gain a competitive advantage in this rapidly growing field.
