Evidence based tools for your most important family members
Using essential oils and aromatherapy with children is a controversial practice, but it doesn’t have to be. Children require unique formulations, blends, and protocols to meet the goal of safety and efficacy at each stage of development. Rather than take an all or nothing approach driven by the chaos of information on this topic, get the facts and learn how to use essential oils with children confidently.
In this 6-part independent course, you will learn why children are more susceptible to harmful effects of essential oils and how to create child-specific protocols to meet their unique needs. A background in aromatherapy is recommended but not required. During this course you will learn how to integrate the principle that the dose makes the poison into your aromatherapy decision-making so that you can safely and effectively begin using essential oils at any age!

After studying the lesson, you are encouraged to post any questions you have in the discussion forum. You are also encouraged to respond to other student questions.
Course instructors respond to all questions and comments every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. After the final lesson is posted, course access continues for an additional 3 weeks to allow for review and application questions. For more details about our Independent Courses, CLICK HERE.
