Do oranges really help treat a cold? How exactly do spicy foods reduce congestion? Does chocolate really boost mood? Join Dr. Jessie Hawkins in this 1-day workshop to learn about the healing effects of dozens of healthy foods.

Most food-focused courses emphasize nutrition: healthy eating, prevention, and medical care. In this workshop, we ares kipping over nutritional guidelines to focus exclusively on the healing powers of the phytochemicals contained within common foods.

This 4-part workshop covers over 30 unique medical actions of foods and includes a PDF download of the key actions contained within each food covered in the workshop. You’ll also learn the difference between nutrition and healing with food and how to integrate the two approaches to dietary selection in an evidence based way.

  • Food Chemistry
  • Actions of common phytochemicals in foods
  • Integrating healing foods into the healthy diet
  • Healing actions of grains, legumes, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and other foods
  • The role of dosing in medicinal food

The workshop is offered LIVE with Dr. Jessie Hawkins. It includes 4 sessions, 1 hour each, starting at 9, 10, 12, and 1pm central time, with a 1 hour break for lunch at 11am. During each session, you are encouraged to interact directly with Dr. Hawkins through the private chat feature; she will address all questions submitted after each of the sessions. You will need high speed internet access to enjoy the live event. It can be accessed from a smart phone, tablet, or computer.

Details to access the workshop will be sent immediately after registration. If you have not received your registration confirmation within one hour, and you have checked your spam/promotions folder, please contact our administrative offices for assistance. Replay Access is sent to all workshop registrants. Because this is a LIVE event, replay access is sent after the event is over and the recording is processed.
