1. Application

You can complete your formal application online or on-site at an admissions event.

The application process has 2 distinct tasks: 1) to document that all new students are capable of mastering postsecondary (i.e. college/university level) coursework, and 2) to ensure that all applicants are a good match for the program’s goals and objectives before accepting your payments. The application process involves compiling evidence that both tasks have been met.

A complete application includes receipt of all of your eligibility materials. Applications should be completed a minimum of 2-3 weeks prior to your desired start date. Applications completed after that time require rush processing. To ensure ample processing time, submit your formal application as soon as possible.

2. Eligibility

The first step of the admissions process is to order your high school and/or college transcripts.

As a fully authorized postsecondary institution, we must confirm that every new student is able to benefit from college education and that you are capable of managing college-level or graduate-level coursework. To document eligibility, you will need to send academic transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and an admissions essay. CLICK HERE for more information about the admissions essay.

All transcripts must be sent directly from your previous institution, and all letters must be sent directly from your referrals. Transcripts can be sent by physical mail to: FSIHS Admissions / 504 Autumn Springs Ct ste 6 / Franklin TN, 37067. They can also be sent digitally to admissions@fsihs(dot)org.

3. Review Process

Sit back and relax; you are almost there!

Once your application is complete, the review committee will evaluate your documents and make an admissions decision. During this process, you will attend an online meeting with a member of our admissions team to review your program. Program acceptance is at the discretion of the college; this process may take up to 1-2 weeks.

4. Success

Congratulations! After evaluation, you will receive a response from the admissions committee.

Evaluation of your application results in one of three decisions: full admission, conditional admission, or denial of admission. Conditional admission is granted if you have pre-requisites to meet or if the Director believes that you will meet admissions requirements within 1-2 terms. Once those requirements or pre-requisites are met, full admission is offered. When it is necessary that the admissions committee denies an application, recommendations of alternate programs of study or action steps to achieve admissions are provided.
